The younger brother and chief engineer of the band, Josh has a distinguished career as a top-flight pianist in the mid-Atlantic area. As a music school freshman Josh was the varsity quarterback (ie. the pianist in the large jazz ensemble). Heavily steeped in the entire history of jazz, Josh brings the influence of Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and Robert Glasper to the table. His mastery of a wide variety of styles brings an effortless utility to the arranging needs of the band, and his mastery of harmony brings every part of every song to life.
Jonathan Miller
Guitar & Lead Vocals
The elder brother and lyricist of the band, Jon's musical career began with his first public show at the age of seven. He was trained as a classical singer and guitarist and formed his first band when he was 15. Raised on Lightnin' Hopkins, Led Zeppelin, and Debussy, Jon's influences range widely across space and time. As a singer, songwriter, and guitar player, Jon has been honing his craft for over 2 decades. His ear for melody and soul outpouring from his voice and pen ensures that no matter what the energy level of the song, the listener will feel what he feels.
